Scott's employer FedEx Express is in the innovators circle. By adding fifty one additional Hybrid Electric walk-in vans to it's fleet is a great choice. With the addition of these fifty one new vans it brings FedEx's total fleet of hybrid electric/electric vehicles to 274.

Because much of the city driving is start and stop these new hybrid electric vans go a long way to reduce pollution and increase efficiency.

Does it seem that every single day an auto manufacturer announces an electric car? We applaud this direction for transportation.

One caveat..how do we generate the electricity to "fuel" the new electric cars? Let's run fast and hard to ramp up a solar energy infrastrature to power these beautiful new electric cars.

Aurora Flight Sciences is working on the "Vulture" program with project partners BAE Systems, CS Draper Laboratory and the Sierra Nevada Corporation. The Project is being funded by a Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency contract(DARPA).
