When we began to renovate our 1907 Seattle home, Scott wanted to include solar energy. I thought solar in Seattle was a crazy idea, but after we installed an 18 panel solar roof a funny thing happened. We discovered our roof generated over 4000 kilowatt hours per year. Enough clean energy to offset over 3 tons of carbon annually. In a city famous for its cloudy days. That’s when we realized we had to spread the word about solar. If it worked in Seattle... imagine the possibilities for solar homes everywhere. |
